Rick Giron
We look at each of our estates as places where we can make the earth a little better, and work to improve our vineyards, our gardens and our buildings while maintaining their integrity.
Born and raised in San Francisco, Rick Giron has made his home in Sonoma County for over 25 years. He met his wife, Laura Jackson Giron, through her sister, Jennifer Jackson Hartford, in the mid-1970s and has worked alongside the family ever since. With his background in construction and homebuilding in the Bay Area, he has been involved in real estate development and property management at Jackson Family Wines.
An avid chef and gourmand, he was also instrumental in leading the charge to plant Tuscan olive trees on the family’s estates. He worked closely with Jess Jackson to develop a program to produce locally-grown olive oil.
