Rooted for Good - A Roadmap to 2030

Unveiled in August 2021, this 10-year sustainability and climate action plan is a bold, comprehensive set of goals and initiatives designed to lead climate solutions, create a positive social impact, and support the Jackson family’s long-term vision for a sustainable future.

Social responsibility is at the heart of our Rooted for Good plan. We are committed to building a workplace where diversity, equity, and inclusion thrive, while also empowering our employees to foster resilient communities.

We have a plan to cut our carbon emissions in half by 2030 and become climate positive by 2050, without purchasing carbon offsets. It’s one of the biggest initiatives Jackson Family Wines has ever undertaken. Yet, we’re confident we’ll get there, and we invite you to join us on this journey.

Our legacy is deeply rooted in the land.  We’ve dedicated ourselves to sustainable practices that foster soil health and biodiversity, while preserving natural habitats. By 2030, 100% of our estate vineyards will be farmed using regenerative practices.

Water is one of our most important natural resources.  We are using innovation and smart science to conserve and reuse water, protect wild habitats, and recharge our groundwater aquifers.

Jackson Family Wines has been recognized across the globe for our dedication and leadership on sustainability and climate action solutions. From co-founding International Wineries for Climate Action, to funding innovative water saving technology that has been shared with other wineries, we believe in the power of working together to move our industry forward.
